Shipping¶

In this step, you will set up the shipping configuration needed for the checkout process.

Important

This step is mandatory — without shipping settings, customers cannot complete checkout.

For every shipping option, follow these steps:
First, create a Rate Type
Give it a clear name (e.g., Flat Rate, Weight-Based, Free Above 5000).
The Rate Type will appear as a dropdown when adding actual rates.
Go to Manage Rates → Add Shipping Zone
- Select countries (e.g., Nepal Only, India + Nepal, Worldwide)
Open each zone and add shipping rates with conditions:
- Set price (e.g., NPR 150)
- Add conditions (min order value, weight range, etc.)
- Enable Free Shipping above a certain amount (highly recommended!)

Rate Type: Flat Rate Nepal
Zone: Nepal Only
Rate: NPR 130 (Kathmandu Valley) | NPR 200 (Outside Valley)
Free Shipping: Above NPR 3000
